Water and Sewer for Gibson City residents : 217-784-5872 – Bills are mailed every 2 months. Payments can me mailed to PO Box 545 Gibson City, made in person at 101 E 8th Street , put in the drop box at the Police Department, or paid online through our Portal (which is found under the Pay Bills Tab).

Anyone who is changing the size of an existing building or addition to a property ( which includes fences, pools, garages, etc.) If you are questioning whether or not you will need one for current additions, it’s always better to fill one out. Use the Link below to print out a permit form:

Once completing the form, please turn it in at City Hall or mail it to the City at PO Box 545 or 101 E. 8th Street , Gibson City, IL. 60936 .

For Residential Permits the Cost is– $50.00 for the 1st $1,000.00 of your project, and $1.00 for every thousand after that.

For Commercial Permits the Cost is–$100.00 for the 1st $1,000.00 of your project and $1.00 for every thousand after that.
