The next “Draggin’ Main” Downtown Car Cruise is this Friday, August 17th, 2018.
The event starts at 6:00 pm, in Downtown Gibson City. Come out and enjoy the summer evening surrounded by family, friends, and special cars, old and new! Various businesses will be open through out the evening for dining and shopping opportunities. Some businesses participating include:
* The Bayern Stube will be serving $4 Brats on a bun and $4 Wuerzburger Lager.
* GoinPlaces Catering will be serving a Butterflied Porkchop Sandwich, Chips and a Drink for $5.
* The Skate Park Committee will be selling tickets for their weekly drawing at $1 each. If there is no winner before the 17th the Queen of Hearts pot will be well over $8,000.
* The American Legion will be grilling Hamburgers, Cheeseburgers, and Hot Dogs. They will also offer MGD for $1/each. The Legion will also have their speakers playing tunes outside.
* Crowridge Farm Ice Cream will be there with a variety of flavors as usual. We will also have root beer floats and some jumbo ice cream stuffed cupcakes.
*Black & Whites Soda Shop – The Fizz will have an open house from 6-9p. There will be samples, giveaways, and Cole Jones Racing will have their two Quarter Midgets on display for the kids to check out!
They will also have information on Gibson City’s upcoming HarvestFest event on Sept 7th & 8th.
*The Jr Class will be selling raffle tickets to raise money for prom.
