The next ‘Draggin’ Main’ Downtown Car Cruise is this Friday, July 20th, 2018.
The event starts at 6:00 pm, in Downtown Gibson City. Come out and enjoy the summer evening surrounded by family, friends, and special cars, old and new! Various businesses will be open through out the evening for dining and shopping opportunities. ACE HARDWARE – Will be open until 7PM. FARA will be set up dispersing Rider Registration Bags for the July 22nd FARA Bicycle Ride along with information regarding FARA.
THE AMERICAN LEGION – Will be holding a cookout as well and will have beer available outside
THE BAYERN STUBE – Will be serving brats as well as König Pils beer outside. They will also have souvenir glasses to take home when you buy a beer. There will also be a homemade lemonade stand.
CORNBELT SHRINER’S – Will be selling Ribeye Steak Sandwiches from Sammer’s
GIRL SCOUTS OF CENTRAL ILLINOIS – Is hosting a Children’s Activity Area with a raffle drawing. There will also be a basket of goodies to give away to any girls who register to be a Girl Scout on Friday night.
GOINPLACES CATERING – Serving Butterfly Pork Chop Sandwich, chips and a drink for $5
NAPA – Will be set up at a table holding a drawing for a Meguiar’s Car Care Bucket, valued at $100. ( Bucket will include soap, wax, tire shine, interior detailer, cleaning towels).
THE SKATE PARK COMMITTEE – Will be selling tickets for their drawing on Wednesday, July 25th. Tickets are just $1/each and proceeds support the future Skate Park in Gibson City. The pot after last week’s drawing was $6629.
STONE COLD SHAVED ICE – Will be open and serving flavored ice treats. He will be holding a “Make Your Own Recipe” contest!
