The Railroad crossing at IL. 9, 47, and 54 will be closed starting on August 19, 2019 for approximately 7 days while the railroad crossing is rebuilt. Attention Gibson City Residents: The regular recycling for January 20th has been canceled due to a death in the recycler’s family. Recycling will resume with the next regular time of the first Saturday of the month, February 3rd from 8-11. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation!
Announcement: Community Recycling is cancelled for July 2, 2022. Normal Recycling schedule will resume July 16, 2022 at 8-11:30 am. Two trailers will be brought on July 16, 2022 to make up for the current cancellation. Thank you for your cooperation!
Recycling Update: Recycling has been moved from August 17th to August 24th to avoid interference with the Summer Bash celebration that will be held downtown. It will take place at the same place: Parking Lot south of City Hall, 8:00AM – 11:00AM, August 24, 2024. Please share, we appreciate your cooperation!
