Notice: 2026 Clean-up Day 
Please read below to find more information reagrding the upcoming Clean-up Day on Saturday, June 6th, 8AM-Noon!
This additional info includes the process for arranged pickup for elderly/disabled residents: You must call City Hall at 217-784-5872 to get on list for arranged pick-up by Friday, June 5th to be included. It will be run on a first-come, first-serve basis on June 6th, starting at 8AM and working through the list from top to bottom. Only one trip will be made to each address.
You will also find the list attached for Electronics Recycling, which takes place on the same day in the same location for your convenience.
