The Gibson City 2025 Youth Fishing Derby in Review: 
Thank you for such a great turn out! 
The community came together with a group of around thirty children, age 14 and under, to participate in this years’ fishing derby, annually held by the Gibson City Jordan Pond Committee. Sponsored by Thrivent and Gibson Area Hospital, the event took place last Sunday, June 1st. Refreshments, food, and prizes for certain categories were provided generously by Ace Hardware, County Market, Dairy Queen, McDonalds, and Runnings in Gibson City.
Thank you to all those who helped run the event, including all the parents/guardians who helped make it another successful year!
