On February 22, 2018, Illinois State Governor Bruce Rauner visited Gibson City.
Mayor Dan Dickey and a private council met with Governor Rauner in a small session during one of his scheduled stops to surrounding rural communities. At City Hall, the Governor spoke about the current issues in Illinois, and what is yet to come for the future of our state. The floor was then opened for a Q & A session for those in attendance. The meeting wrapped up with friendly conversations and a few pictures before the Governor was off to his next scheduled location.
Thank you to those who attended, and discussed topics that are important for the future growth of our state!
And thank you for Governor Bruce Rauner for stopping by!
